Course Summary
This course cover all MANDATORY Topics the DBPR requires including 1hr HIV, 3 hrs Sanitation and Sterilization, .5 hrs OSHA, .5 hrs workers compensation, 2 hrs cosmetology law, 1 hr chemical makeup of the hair, skin and nails, 1 hr environmental issues and 1 hr basic facial refresher elective. The basic facial refresher is designed for cosmetologists who would like to add facials to their menu, but feel like they did not get enough training in school or for estheticians, full specialists and cosmetologists who have not performed facials in a while and need a refresher. We will review the steps to a basic facial, discuss the benefits of each step and how to prepare for a facial treatment. You will get to watch video demonstrations of each facial step so that you can perform this service with confidence!
