Course Summary
This course cover all MANDATORY Topics the DBPR requires including 1hr HIV, 3 hrs Sanitation and Sterilization, .5 hrs OSHA, .5 hrs workers compensation, 2 hrs cosmetology law, 1 hr chemical makeup of the hair, skin and nails, 1 hr environmental issues and 1 hr basic makeup application elective. This Makeup Application elective topic will teach skills in the art of color theory and how to accentuate and minimize features. We will also cover the supplies and materials needed for a basic makeup application and proper safety and sanitation procedures. Your will see a demonstration of the application of a day look and transition it to night.
